A harsh reality which doesn’t allow me to celebrate Independence Day.

There is no other opinion in this that the Afghan Taliban was and is supported, funded and trained by the so-called mighty Army of this state. Today, we celebrate the 75th independence day, but they have not learned a single lesson from their bad deeds which they have been committing for more than seven decades. Killing, abduction and oppression become their fun-game. Was this aim of independence that our country violates our Muslim neighbor country’s sovereignty time after time and makes their land a hell for the natives of there. Moreover, inside the country, Baloch, Pashtun, Sariki, Sindhi all are oppressed and deprived of their basic rights which were guaranteed in the 1973 constitution except the privileged Punjabis who are the equivalent partners in these establishment sponsored crimes by staying silent. Unfortunately, today our Afghan people are disturbed by this state’s security agencies. They feel helpless. They are going to be invaded by their own terrorist organisation backed by our state. Okay! If you think my arguments are false then tell me, how would you feel if TTP starts invading Pakistani territories and slaughter the Army of the state and also starts implementing their own created versions of Shria law? Indeed! You will call them terrorists, and which they are. Then, how can you justify the killing of the Afghan Army and celebrating the Taliban advances in Afghanistan’s provinces? Dear, If you are still the believer of a good and bad Taliban narrative, then you are wrong. In response, the Afghan govt can support the TTP, which will make this land a hell for you once again. So, choose wisely. However, now back to the previous point which is, why am I not celebrating this day? So, the point is. Are we free in this country? I mean in a true sense. A big no. In my opinion, we have no right to express the truth. No rights to utilise our own resources in Balochistan. No rights to protest. No rights to demand the rights to live peacefully. No free journalism. Censored reports and books. Students Unions are banned. People are missing and the raised voices are made shut. The true political worker are being replaced by unqualified puppets. Minorities are not free and safe to live. Women and children are being raped on a daily basis and there is no strict punishment for the culprits. No quality education and health to facilitate the people. Most of the population in Balochistan are compelled to bring drinking water far from 5 to 6 kilometers. There is only six hours electricity in most of the areas in Balochistan and Sindh. Army forces torture and harass common people on a daily basis for the purpose of security issues. In which they are badly failed to control terrorism and its activities. The previous day Quetta city witnessed two bloody bomb blasts on the same day. Though, keeping all these wrongdoings in mind. How can I celebrate Independence Day? I can’t make myself a fool.
